I thought I was strong and powerful because I max 300 bench press but omg I did a hot yoga class for the first time and let me tell you, Hard Core indeed. Used muscles I never knew I had. Class full of ladies just doing it like nothing and I felt like I’d just finished an iron man competition 😂 hurt a day or two after but felt an overall well being. Yoga is definitely not for sissies!!!!

Yoga is about meditating but whatever you have mentioned those all are just by products but goal is to reach highest state which can be done through meditation and Btw meditation is not the last stage, it’s beyond that. Namaste 🙏

Totally agree, physically is on a completely other level, strength in breathing, mental strength, physical strength, it’s a complete mind, body, and soul workout, the health benefits are second to none, I’m one of those who’d wish I’d found it 30 years ago. Excellent post 🙏💖🙏

Hard core! With a back injury being able to get into shape without pounding on pavement a treadmill is incredible. I started my journey a year and a half ago and its be transformative!! Love seeing ur posts

I like both!! Hardcore when I need a good workout and wanna sweat but at the same it’s still relaxing bc I’m so focused on my movements!!

I never looked at yoga as a workout. Yoga was introduced to me as the ultimate anti-workout workout; a place where I could detach and let go of thought and connect to the breath and nothingness. This works for me, but it does not work for everyone.
