At some point of your fitness journey you will face a setback. ✨ We all have! So don’t let that discourage you or give up on your goals. Here are a few tips to get you back on track! - Take the time to revisit your goals. Make sure you break up long term goals into smaller goals. These should be achievable and set you on the path towards those long term goals. And hey when you do reach that short term goal, celebrate it to keep that motivation high. - See the importance of your mental health from your journey. Don’t always focus on the physical aspect or not seeing results fast enough. It takes time and a big part of living healthy is the mental health gains you make. - Visualize your goals to hone in your focus, so you can see what you want to happen. - Establish a reward system. - Set a schedule. See where and what forces you to get off track. - If you are bored change it up! Try something different that will spike your motivation and be an attribution to your journey. - Learn from the setback and dissect what caused it. So you can prevent it next time. - Make sure you are getting adequate rest, proper nutrition and you are not overworking yourself. - Surround yourself with positivity. - Keep a journal to document what you are going through. 🌼Don’t punish or beat yourself up about a setback! 🌼 @lady_g_fit lady_g_fit ✖️SARA • G • FITNESS✖️
