LEARNING TO BE PERFECTLY IMPERFECT! ⠀⠀ If you’re naturally a perfectionist (🙋🏼‍♀️) then you might find yourself starting a health journey where you trying to do everything PERFECTLY. ⠀⠀ Warning ⚠️ This doesn’t work in the long run. ⠀⠀ If you expect yourself to eat only 100% whole foods, drink 2 liters of water, exercise, meditate, de-stress, connect in meaningful way with friends or family and maintain a perfectly clean home and environment EVERY DAY - its just not realistic. ⠀⠀ Cliche as it may sound, B A L A N C E is so incredibly healthy for your mind, soul and body. ⠀⠀ Doing a cleanse or some kind of meal plan program can be a great start but don’t think that if you’re not sticking to that regime perfectly that you might as well throw the whole “health” idea out the window. ⠀⠀ All that does is set you up for failure. ⠀⠀ I want you to feel like you’re WINNING at life, that the power is in your hands. ⠀⠀ So yes eat healthy, drink water, exercise, and focus on all things that make you feel good. ⠀⠀ But also learn to incorporate comfort meals, going out to eat with friends and having a lazy day on the couch.. ⠀⠀ Because life is hard sometimes and the one thing we can control is how we treat ourselves. So stop beating yourself up for not being perfect and learn to love even the imperfections of every day reality. ⠀⠀ You deserve it. ♥️ ⠀⠀ #health #healthtips #weightloss #vegan #veganfood #happy #balance #balancedlife #recipes #veganrecipes #love #truth #fitfam #mentalhealth @freedomfoodlife freedomfoodlife Freedom Food

You look fine, you look beautiful. Not the best angle maybe, but also sheesh, surely people can figure that out instead of jumping on the body shame wagon... Women are either too fat or too thin or too muscly or too unacceptable in some way or another... HOW DARE WE EXIST IMPERFECTLY. Perfection is impossible so I guess existence is a crime? I call bullshit! 🐮💩 I’ve been every size under the sun and it was never good enough for the critics. Understandably you’re under pressure to present photos as a perfect example of a healthy vegan and people want to see that as if each single nice pic proves vegans are healthy somehow... How many filters do we need to impress people? To prove ourselves? It’s never enough. We need to calm down. ✌️💕🌱 🏳️‍🌈

Is this you today? I feel like it’s kind of feeding ED to post a video of yourself talking about being unhappy with gaining ten pounds, and then the next day posting a picture where you look teeny tiny. Is your focus weight loss or healthy living? 🧐 I love you regardless. I have struggled with mild ED my whole life and it’s hard for me not to read into yours when you post about weight gain then a day later this photo. I love you! And I love your page.

Completely agree with this! Having realistic expectations when you decide to do something helps you success in the long run 20x better! I used to stress about constantly eating healthy everyday and it actually made my mental health and actual health go down. I soon realized I needed to balance eating right with not over exercising and have found a happy spot in between and now I am happy with my body. It takes practice and trial and error but eventually you'll find what works best for you! 💕💕💕
